From small presence to big bike brand

Southbound, South Africa

Mobility

Southbound Bikes had a small but growing presence in the South African market, and a limited product range which they were ready to expand. They wanted our help to create a new brand identity for their business, as well as the articulation of that brand across multiple touchpoints.

They wanted an identity that expressed the essence of the eBikes, and everything they provided to customers in terms of both lifestyle and experience.

Southbound also wanted a reinvigorated digital presence with a brand new website that was both optimised from a user experience perspective, as well an aesthetic one, to deliver a captivating and engaging experience for all visitors. Lucky Beard assisted with a full new brand and brand identity, articulated across all their key touchpoints as well as designing and developing a new website to showcase their new product range.

Strategy・ Brand ・Product・Tech

  • “Southbound Bike’s brand and digital presence were both in urgent need of a refresh, and based on prior work delivered by the Lucky Beard team, I didn't hesitate to engage them in this exciting project. The team delivered a new brand identity that was, yet again, above expectations. Thereafter they crafted and delivered a new website, product collateral and in-store branding that is of the highest calibre. I have worked with the talented team at Lucky Beard for several years now across various brands, and have always found their work to meet the highest design and functionality standards. When you have worked with them, it’s impossible to go anywhere else.”
